Book Review; All Our Yesterdays.

Hey,
So here's another book review. It's another one I got from NetGalley for an honest review. Here's the cover and some information about it;

Release date; 1st August 2013 | Author ; Cristin Terrill | Pages; 379 Pages. |

Right. I can't explain this myself without spoliers so have the blurb because that does an excellent job at doing just that;
"You have to kill him." Imprisoned in the heart of a secret military base, Em has nothing except the voice of the boy in the cell next door and the list of instructions she finds taped inside the drain.Only Em can complete the final instruction. She’s tried everything to prevent the creation of a time machine that will tear the world apart. She holds the proof: a list she has never seen before, written in her own hand. Each failed attempt in the past has led her to the same terrible present—imprisoned and tortured by a sadistic man called the doctor while war rages outside. Marina has loved her best friend James since the day he moved next door when they were children. A gorgeous, introverted science prodigy from one of America’s most famous families, James finally seems to be seeing Marina in a new way, too. But on one disastrous night, James’s life crumbles apart, and with it, Marina’s hopes for their future. Now someone is trying to kill him. Marina will protect James, no matter what. Even if it means opening her eyes to a truth so terrible that she may not survive it. At least not as the girl she once was.
It's kind of like Doctor who, they talk about paradoxes and Time not being Liner (Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey) and I love that stuff and I've never read a time travel book. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Doctor who because I completely got that vibe from it.
I got into this book right away and I loved going on the journey with Em and Finn, they grabbed my heart from the very beguinning and at every toss and turn I was worrying that they weren't going to survive the chapter. I loved their relationship with each other even though there was kind of a weird love triangle that I won't go into. I thought Cristin Terrill got the time travel aspect just right. There was enough time travel talk so that you understand everything that's going on but not too much so that it's confusing. Also when they actually traveled and were in the past it could have gotten confusing with which person was which but it never did. She did a brilliant job and keeping the reader informed. I loved all the plot twists as there were enough clues for them that I was annoyed at not seeing them but there weren't enough clues for me to have seen everything coming. There's a lot more that I loved about this book that I just can't tell you in order to avoid spoilers. but I will just say this book is one of the best I've read this year and is another book from NetGalley that gives me confidence about their quality.
I normally hate Sci-fi books but this one blew me away so just read it!! Video Review to be up soon;

Love,
